If you had to choose a set of shorty headers...

Okay I see these pop up used from time to time for cheap. What set is the best fitment and powerwise? The JBA?

Well I think I can spend $150 for a set of used ones...or is that too high?

I know they won't make too much power but that price is pretty good it seems to me...

Just save up your money and get some long tube. haha Why spend the money for the short header and not gain anything or very little. I would just wait and get some long tube. I am not sure what you need to buy if you want shorties but I would just save for long tube.

The shorties are like tubular manifolds, they do flow better, but not by much. That is a good price and they are a direct bolt in, i think. So the would be easy to install.
Everyone I know who has put them on saw very little gain, the price is good though.

I thought I heard that the 6.0 manifolds give pretty good performance, would this be a better choice that shorties, and it may be even cheaper.

Yeah, LT's are better no doubt but since my brother is getting this truck in the spring I don't wanna spring for a $700 set of headers...I found a cheap set of the JBA's is why.

But I figure until then I can fart around with it for low amounts of cash and see what I can come up with.

Eric, for $150 I would buy them. Tney normaly retail for about $500. Buy them and when are ready for LT's sell them and get your money back.
