I ordered my cam from nelson Performance.I talk to Allen quit often sometimes and out an order in for a comp cams 212/218 .558/.563 on a 114LSA.It will be here about in the middle of next week or by next Friday.I am having them grind it on a 114LSA instead of a 115LSA and I already have the comp 918 springs ready to go.After the cam comes in it is time to put the cam and springs in.I may wait a wek or so to put it in once it gets here but no biggie,it will be in real soon with alot of pics during the install,I promise. Then after about 1 week of driving it with the new cam it will be put back on the dyno shooting for close to 300rwhp or so.that is of course after I tune it witht hat cam in there. This cam is not that big at all but once warrany is up a much bigger one will go in for sure, but for no this will work.It iwll be much much better than stock and wil run much better.
    i will keep yall updated
    Thanks again Allen

Warrenty, what warrenty?????? Mine is 1 year old a month ago. With all my mods the dealer KNOWS there is no such thing as warrenty on my engine parts....... Might be the continuous vaccum/idle problem

Enjoy the cam, makes your day when it's in!

vortec350 - that looks like a pretty good cam for you. Its duration is similar to the LS1 Hotcam, but it has much higher lift (.525) - but the LS1 Hotcam is on a 112 LSA.

You made a pretty good choice in an overall good cam - good luck with it!!

That's the cam I bought also except with the 115lsa. I'm still shopping for a place to install it. Why did you go with a 114lsa instead of 115lsa?

    Thanks,

Try and get a sound clip of the exhaust once you get it in.
