houston g2g

alright the guys in dfw and sa and atx always have get togethers and track days and bbqs. what i want to know is when are us houston guys gonna get something going like the first sunday a mth or something. there are alot of houston people and we need to do this. when i first joined i went to one g2g like 2 yrs ago. we havent really done anything that i know of since then. id do it but i dont have the money or now alot of the guys like some of yall do. when i had my grand prix our club used to have a bbq/install day and that was cool. we did it like every 3 sunday a mth at the club prez house. so i wanna know when we gonna at lest have a bbq like the other towns or something? danny

i say that we have or regular g2g's, but have 1 huge bbq every year where everyone comes. like this is mainly the I35 corridor bbq on saturday, but since we have some awesome members around the houston area, maybe we should have a huge meeting closer to yall, and some louisiana guys can come too! someone set a date! and everyone make plans! try to get somewhere that has a track, and also schedule during cooler weather for best track results!

well like we used to have it at some park right outside of pearland on a sunday so most will be off adn then head to the track in baytown about 15-20 mins away. i think its called jon bass or somehting bass and i know last time we went to the track there were some beaumont and la guys there b/c the track in baytown is on the west side of houston. im down anytime and i know i could get some people to go even not some ls1truck guys. i just dont have the money to do it i could do all planning and what not i just need help with the funds. im tryin not to get my truck repoed right now. ill trart planning for an oct or nov time if yall want to go let me know some good dates for everyone and im ready

How about we try to get together the second sunday every month at houston motorsports park. The place is a blast. We can bbq there and race at night. What yall think?

That 1/8th mile track off Beltway 8? That place is fuggin&#39; ghetto&#33; I feel like Im gunna get jumped every time I go there. How about a trip to HRP? Just have a whole bunch of guys go in november? There going to re-surface the track in a couple weeks so it might be down for a while. But it should be fine by mid nov.

HRP will work too. Very laid back, a little far to drive home on a sunday night. You do have a point about Houston motorsports, but i have never had a problem, the place has a pluse kind of a street vibe. But i did see people smoking a blunt in the stands in front of my kids didn&#39;t really care for that but figured that was just part of what you have to deal sometimes. Any other suggestion?

i think HRP is cool. i never been to the other place. but im down we should do it . there are alot of houston guys. HRP also has the space for all of us to hang out too.

im with daniel, ill go to houston. probably the best place for a huge meet would be san antonio, since the austin waco and dallas guys and houston guys will all have to drive&#33;
