Thread: Blew a Ford Poostroke AWAY!

    A ford poostroke came up beside me today at the light. We took off and he nailed it. As you all know I do not have my stall in yet, but when rolling my truck is in the sweeet spot. I nailed it and didn't give him a chance . I blew past him so fast I do not think he knew what he was messing with . My STS turbo spools hard at 2300 and thats where I was at. He pulled up beside me and said I have a Bully Dog programmer and I still could'nt keep up . I said yea , but if we started from the light you will take me b/c of the torque you have. So we started again and yea, he got me off the line, but 2300 came quick and I passed him again. He pulled up again and said what do you have in that truck ? I couldn't resist, so I used a line that someone has on thier file attachment. I said I had bad vacuum leak and started laughing . Then I told him anLQ4 6.OL, GT-67 STS Turbo-intercooled10 psi, 42lb injectors, walbro inline pump, 80 mm TB, and a bad ass tune from Allen Nelson. Man I sound like that kid from a Christmas story with his red rider BB gun with a compass in the stock.
