I've always used innovate and never had an issue, just lately, but when it does go bad, it's a pita to setup again.
The problem with mine: i'd get it all setup, then it would just hover around 11.8af after about 15mins of tuning.

AEM also has a controller, we'll see if the FAST unit is good enough,
