12.47 on skreet tires, a bit faster on slicks.

i took this off of a guy ironically named quicksilverado on pt.net and was wondering if i supercarged the 6.0 with that same setup, would low 12's be possible? also i thought the 80e was a horsepower eater. seems kinda unbelieveable he ran that time with just those mods. im plannin on cam, 3000 stall, efans, maybe nitrous, or STS gt-70, caltracs, CAI, Nelson tune. seems odd he doesnt have clatracs or some shit to help get the truck under control with that amount of power? with the right tune whats a reasonable guess at 1/4 time?

you should go over to the rgv guys website. alot of of those guys have similar setups as vv8 and bluecajun. all they have are 5.3, internals, stall built tranny and rearend and they are mid 12s daily driven. its not hard to get to the 12s with just the 6.0 N/A. you just need the right combonation of stuff.

o im worried about looks to, at the track it wont have the 20's, but im not gonna be one of those guys taht takes out everything but his seat, and takes out the front headlight, and shit. i think id like to be as close to street weight and gear as possible. to me thats pointless, cuz ur not gonna be driving around like that u know?

i want to do that, but every time i get out there i get out to the track i get the urge for the glory numbers lol. im thinking about going to the 1/8 near me and giving it a quick 3 hotlaps at full weight and a quarter tank just to see.

    old mod list: H/C/I/N/E/G 408

i definetly wont run the 20's at the track, but as soon as i make my runs they r going right back on, dont wanna mess up my rims somehow.

Theres over 20 trucks down here that are in the low 13's or high 12's or mid 12's all of them are daily drivers. And im sure by this winter there will be alot of mid 12's and low 12's truck here.
