I just have a lot of experience with hummers and im finally happy that i can hook someone on here up. I guess nobody else on here has much experience with these trucks or there would be miles of info already posted. If Gabe put an LS1 in there then other people could help and i would be lost. Im sure Gabe will have plenty of questions for me as he has a mess of a truck right now. Im gonna have hell finding a wiring diagram and parts for him. It would be cool to see a late model dMax conversion though!

yeah, i would go with a more truck oriented engine for that beast, a dmax, 8.1, or lq4/lq9 6.0 would rock its world. hummertechs the only one ive seen that knows a hell of a lot about the hummers/humvee's good to know we have more than just a few trucks and cars covered on this site, all info is helpful at some point!

Thanks dude for all that ifo, It sure clarify me off some blank spots I have it my head.

Thanks for the fuse thing, I'll be doing that soon LOL

I just took apart the Transmision and today I'm sending it to the repair shop.

I'm focusing right now on the Engine, cause I dont know if it runs or not. Just took out all the Sparks and send to buy new ones just to install them and see if it rumbles!!!!!

I could see a more oriented Truck engine than the 6.2 L diesel, I only read good thing about it. Kind of slow, but nothing I can't cure with a nice turbo. Anyway, want a want is a lot of torque!!!!

Be back for more question for you dude

Good luck with the turbo bit cause your on your own with that. I do know however that 6.2's dont like more than 12lbs from what im told. I know the army had some turbo charged hummers as well as the Marine Corps up armors. But i think those were all 6.5's.

54A is not a fuse it is a wire just pull it out of the injector pump and see the frustration on his face.
