I was on my way home this afternoon, when i noticed a dodge frontend in my rearview mirror. I slowed down to see if it was a hemi, . YEP, it was, i must have slowed down to prolly 15mph, this guy had to know i was waiting for him.. When he pulled up next to me, i noticed it was an ext. cab hemi, he looked at me then nodded( kinda like saying whattup), I nodded, then gave him a lil rev, then he revved, and it was on. We kinda slowed down so the traffic would pass us. Then we came to a complete stop. His lady counted to 3, then we were off. I pulled on him right of the start, he spun, I thought he was gonna catch me(since i have the 4.8) but he never did, we went to about 90, and i never saw him until i slowed down. I let him pass and he gave me the . Anyways, it was my first hemi kill, so i thought i'd let you'all know. L8s

the topend isnt the 4.8s problem, its the lowend. if u get ahead of him he wont catch up. u just gotta worry about the launch

    Nothing a 3000-3400 stall converter won't cure!

I plan on ordering a 3000 converter next month. I cant wait to see how that helps. What kind of improvements are you all getting with the converter in the 4.8's?

I'd say with the right converter you'd drop about .3-4 tenths.

    I love my converter, it's a yank 3200 and it's a nice daily driver.
