I was cruizin tonight and a brand new GTO blows past me so I decide to follow him to the freeway. We get to the light and he waits on me so we both turn left at the light to get on the feeder road but the road goes from 2 lanes to 1. I decide to be nice and let him get on the feeder so I can get beside him to see what he has. He heads to the freeway instead of waiting so I gun it a little where he can see my grill in his back seat to catch him and he just takes off! I'm like WTF, I can either chase him onto the freeway or let him go. I just let off the gas and he's gone Later bro, I should have cracked his ass on the turnoff to the feeder road! So now I make a u-turn under I-45 and an Impala SS pulls up next to me and starts gunning it and letting off but there's a car in front of me. I try and try to get beside him but he doesn't want to slow down and wait on me. I hit it hard and finally get beside him and he decides to get on the freeway and gun it and I have to go right and stay on the feeder. I guess they didn't want any of my slow ass truck! Oh well, they probably saved me from a ticket.

After getting dusted a couple times you&#39;ll be adding a 6.2L aluminum block, forged rotating assy with 4" crank, maybe a supercharger and who knows what all else, maybe a 75 shot of juice? We all hate getting dusted by a vehicle that looks bone stock.

LMAO&#33; I wanted to, or at least try. It just pisses me off when someone teases you and then they go the other direction. I&#39;m on the prowl though. I just want to see what the truck will do until I get out to the track. My next post will be a kill whether it&#39;s me or them.


Greg, I haven&#39;t been dusted yet but I know it&#39;s coming. I know I&#39;ll regret that day because you&#39;re right, I&#39;ll be changing out to a 6.2 or something. I&#39;m working on my nitrous setup right now. I found some Torlon material I might use that will stay pretty cool behind my throttle body. I&#39;m making my own wet plate with a 150 shot. I&#39;m getting excited&#33;.

So which one do you want to try? 5.7 GTO or 6.0 GTO? I still want a 5.7 myself. 6.0 got me the first time, but he had a jump. The next one I ran took long enough that I don&#39;t mind messing with them from traffic light to traffic light because I know they aren&#39;t gonna pull so much that they can really brag. If its a 1/4 mile, I&#39;ll probably just play the "dumb big old truck" thing....
