When I get some time and some good pictures I will post them for you.
The reason I picked a 4.8L, is for a couple reasons:
1. Bought the truck 2.5 months ago, and that was the only 03' Arrival Blue V-8 LS1 in the area that was still for sale. End of year Sales Blowout, Saved $6K off of Sticker price.
2. Only Color I wanted, Biggest engine I could Find at time of purchase.
3. Basically the same as 5.3 & 6.0, think only difference is the crankshaft.
4. The truck is just a stripped down work truck with no options/ only options are
4.8LS1 and Auto 4L60E.
5. Light weight/ No Options/ LS1 V8/ Mods/ and Maybe in near future
Supercharger=Fast Truck for Not Much Money.
Hopefully that will answer some of the questions, why a 4.8L?
So Far, I am very happy I purchased the 4.8!!!!!!!
