a stroker kit for it maybe,
    a vortec or whipple charger,
NA would be hard unless you build it , it may cost just as much as a swap

what year is your 4.3 and what modifications do you have on it right now? What is your current 1/4 mile time?

my buddy has the same truck and runs a 15.5 i believe or maybe its a 16.5 even some 15s will be fine. i just hate being so damn slow and i really need to finish up some of the cosmetics on my truck before unloading under the hood.

ok, so you're almost there, try swapping in a cam, getting the heads worked, and i bet you'll be very close.

a 50shot would def. help and not be too much.

    what do you think?

if i go buy me a 60 series flow master and a cam, how will it sound?? still like a hyped up v6?? the intake makes it sound real deep at low rpms. but how much is a cam wut size and where should i buy it

Keep you exhuast very quiet or not too far from stock or it will sound raspy and hollow, it's very hard to get the deep tone from a v6.
i think a 60-70series would work fine, i had a quiet dynomax on mine and it sounded just throaty enuff, but at least it wasn't annoying.

Comp cams has a cam for you truck, go to their site and check it out, it's the 112lsa cam.

    keep us updated,
