    I would like to know the difference between the to because me friend that had a vortec max gets 18MPG and my 1500HD 6.0 0nly gets 10mpg at the best

    Well, most of the gas mileage would be lost from your HUGE weight disadvantage from your HD and his V-Max. Engine differences are mostly compression ratio and programming that would effect mileage/performance. Other differences are better rods, crank, full floating pistons, and a few other bits...

    dont get me started...i've had a very bad day...i might get in trouble for trying to kill my service advisor. oh wait a minute.... he got fired and i got a raise... still it was a bad day.... that 1/2 snap-on braker bar might have put a big ass dent in his forehead
