tapping noise

Try this. Step on the brake and accelerator. Does it make the noise or does the vehicle need to be in motion?

Also, check the rear cylinder, drivers side manifold gasket. Just a small piece blowed out will mimic this noise. Ask me how I know. Also check the collector gasket.
