Thread: I'm done spending $$$..Will sell truck 2 ways

    Truck ran 13.5 at SAR, still not tuned all the way will sell for $25,000 with all the goodies, turbo, motor, FMIC or will take out 5.7 and replace with stock 5.3 setup and part out the goodies.

    '04 1500 crew LT, Leather, all options 36k miles

    I'm buyin a tahoe.
    2013 2wd Z71 6.2 crew cab

    Old Truck: '04 Chevy crew cab stroked/bored 6.0 to 408ci. forged internals, patriot 68cc stage 3 heads (11.1:1cr), comp 244/246 .600 115lsa cam, 3000 yank tc, built 4L60E, walbro 255, 60# mototron injectors, pacesetter lt's 4" single no-cat exhaust

    best time 12.93 1/4 mi @ 103 in the turbo truck.

    Just tired of going back and forth tuning. Everyday it's something different. It's fast, but I'm done. It'll either sell or I'm going n/a with a cam / NOS. Maybe 408+. I dunno? If anyone wants a really nice truck with all the work already done, here it is. I'll buy a tahoe and make it fast.

    dont give up bro! it took me a while to get the bugs out of my truck but now i will Never be with out it! It's just so cool to have a turbo truck or a fast truck for that matter.

    Man you cant seel that truck!! Maybe just a few more kinks and you'll have it perfect! You should sleep on it. Best of luck with what you end up doing. I was looking forward to seeing it run at the track in person!

    Compression test shows #7 cylinder is dead. Pulling the motor tomorrow and taking it to the machine shop. Will try to replace just the 1 piston/ring if possible. If not, the whole set up will be changed. Option 1: put a stock 5.3 in an sell it / trade it. Option 2: build a 408-427 ls1 n/a with forged internals (f the turbo, maybe NOS). Option 3: just a nice 6.0 with the patriot heads and a big ol' cam (cheap route).

    Either way the turbo is for sale. STS kit 12k miles rebuilt precision T74 turbo, Custom FMIC, Methanol kit, Boost gauge. Boostaholics enjoy, I'm done.
