BTW, I decided to mount the sensor on the whipple hat, I registered about 210deg intake temps from the whipple, HOT!!
When the alky spray activated it dropped to about 105degs, timing went from 5-8degs to about 20degs, huge difference, no KR detected under either condition.

I was worried about the meth spray hitting the IAT and giving a false reading. That is why I mounted the IAT in the manifold. So now I'm (probably) getting a false reading from heat soak. Oh, well. When it was running last Hell's fire (summer), I wished I could get as much as 5-8 deg. With KR, I was seeing 0-2 degrees. Here's an example from a log I am looking at: 151 IAT (with methanol), 174 ECT. 100 TPS from 3149 to 4194 rpm, 8 degrees KR, 1.5 deg. advance. False KR? We'll see with this '02 computer you sent.
If you're getting no KR, then even if the spray is hitting your sensor, 20 sounds safe.
Is that what kind of timing we're looking for under boost?
