my dad gave me this 80's suburban fuel tank, It was new and free so im going with it
ordered a tbi fuel sender from a 87, and then changed the pump to the high psi pump that's made for the pressure needed for the swap

vette brakes on the 37 by joa kwin, on Flickr

I found some non drilled and slotted rotors for the z06 on rockauto, and they were like 50 bucks each, I have some drilled and slotted rotors for it but I didn't want to mess them up during the build or whatever

in this video, I primed the oil system and put a regular oil gauge and turned the key just to build up oil and make sure it would build up oil pressure, also I didn't have spark plugs in the motor because I was using the battery from my mini aka super small battery

I replaced a lot seals on the motor,
oil pan, front/rear mains, timing cover seal, intake manifold seals, valve covers, valley seal

    here I started it up

and I was getting oil coming out of the exhaust

so I knew I had to do valve seals

worked on the radiator hoses, my radiator was said to be set up for a ls motor, but it came with 1.50 inch hose at the top and not the 1.25 the ls water pump uses

my valve spring tool I made
its alittle off but I was still able to get the job done, so that's all that matters

I ended up deleting the power steering and went with a manual steering rack
and I'm going with a electric power steering set up, that's inline

the belt ended up being 103.25 inches long

here's a pic of my computer and fuse panel
its on mdf right now, but I have some alloy that it will be mounted to before im done

the mdf is just for mock up, so that I could figure stuff out
