I assume you had a 60e in the truck before right? If so, then your original 4 pin connector should just plug right into the new PNP switch and your good to go. Those wires and connector should not have been touched. If those were cut, then you need to find them and tie them into the 4 wires on the 02 harness that go to the connector. Your statement of splicing all the wires together so the signal goes to "both" doesnt make sense. You cant have TWO PNP switches.... One switch mounted on the trans ---> 4 pin connector that plugs into the switch ---> 4 wires out of connector straight to the dash indicator.
