or is it better to use an mid 90s 5.7 clutch and pressure plate? ive read it grabs more on the flywheel? also starter wise is there any difference from the auto to manual starters? any specific year? or are they all the same?

I am doing a 6.0 swap as we speak with a NV4500,,, what I came up with is the sachs flywheel,, and that pilot bearing,, keep the stock clutch and throwout bearing from your truck..(or at least thats what I am going, it's supposed to work fine.... the sach flywheel will need the dowel pins removed and the bolts holes on the pressure plate slightly enlarged, you will need pressure plate bolts for the sachs flywheel and you will need flywheel bolts that are correct for the lsx crank

this combo has worked for other members as well...

I do not believe there is a difference in the starters... just as long as it's for your year engine
