I have the rear end back and got started changing the bushings. Then I hit a snag. seems that there are 2 sizes of shackle bushings and I of course got the smaller ones that dont fit. Funny the Ebay add said they would fit but also said they were 1 3/8ths. Now he wants me to pay shipping. Oh well small problems. Oh and installed the 2 inch drop hangers as well.

Hoke, I was really impressed with the truck. No rust to speak of. We did make some tiny dents while pulling the bed, dang it.
Super, it can be like the blind leading the blind, Lol I have read that I need a 94 dash to have a speedometer and tach. I am sure there are write ups about it maybe someone can point me in the right direction.

Getting a little more done. I got the rear end installed, replaced the wheel cylinders and bled the brakes.

I picked up some tires off of Ebay for 140 for the whole set brand new. We cleaned all the old clear coating off of the wheels and painted them silver and black. Set the bed back on. Looks good but I will need to drop it a little more, cant really even tell I dropped the rear 2 inches.

I am getting the truck ready to get inspected. These days in Texas the will not issue tags until you get a inspection sticker. High beam headlight is out. Looks to be low on fluid.

Horn doesnt work. Found the blinker cancel cam broken. No biggie but I gotta pull the wheel off. Always something.

Cool passed inspection. I had to drive 10 miles to get to the station. Steering is wasted. Keeping her out of the ditch was a chore. Found bad idler arm and pitman arm has 1/2 inch of play. Back to work.
