As most of you kn ow by now i have a complete pullout with ECm and all wiring from a 01 yukon that is drive by wire. I am looking to convert to drive by cable. now i did get all the peddles and small computer and all the cables for the drive by wire but was told i needed to use the drive by cable in my obs build.
Can anyone help with this. I have read many threads about this pcm and this pcm and all that but am still rather confused.

You will need to rewire the throttle body for an iac and tps sensor.
Then do the same for the PCM side.
You will be able to use the same PCM if red and blue tpa clips are on the PCM connectors.
Just get it flashed for a cable tb. 01-02 truck.
Pm Roy@np. He has all the connectors and info u need to accomplish this; it's easy.

I have just not been around many how have used the drive by wire. Most of what i have seen has been drive by cable. So these are the reasons i ask so many question.
Probably already moved on but there's absolutely nothing wrong with keepin DBW. Doesn't matter if it's an OBS or a pinto or a Lexus.
