Definitely picked up a couple helpful tips on that thread. However, what I'm doing is using the complete LS harness that came with the engine, trimming out all things I don't need in the OBS harness, and powering the pcm/LS harness with the OBS fuse block. If you look at it this way, the engine/trans/pcm all need 12v power to work, and the info/power from those things needs to be fused and sent to the OBS cluster for reading. I didn't want to cut anything out of the newer harness if it wasn't absolutely necessary. I had to re-pin the connectors going into the selector switch at the trans because it had the newer style single connector, and pull all the pins out of the LS main fuse block c2 connector to plug them into my fuse block. I still want everything to look and feel as stock as possible for budget reasons...for now lt1swap.com has been my wiring bible the whole way and whatever wiring diagrams I find on the LS forums. I'm still trying to figure out what I'm going to do about my exhaust situation because I had plans of using a y-pipe that I bought but I'm pretty sure it's meant for a 2WD so it won't work. I might just piss off the neighbors and run straight headers to get it up and running then drive it to the exhaust shop and pray for no tickets lol
