Took the truck to my parents shop to keep it out of the weather. Got the motor set in as well!

Since I'm waiting on the adjustable throw out bearing to come in I moved on to another project on the truck. Installing the Walbro 255 pump

Well got the fuel pump put in. I went with an edlebrock kit that used the gss340 pump. It was a direct swap and the only modification needed was a piece of high pressure submersible fuel line. Pics of the progress

link to fuel pump kit. Not sure if this is just a walbro pump with an edelbrock name, but it was a direct swap into my oem bucket.

Just for a heads up I would use a fuel injector clamp on that hose and also put one on the pump side. I had that clamp come loose and my hose came off part way so my fuel pressure was 20 psi. Nothing worse than having to go back in and fix your hose on your pump.

Gagliano7 thanks for the heads up...Iv done a few like this in the past with no issues so I'll cross my fingers and hope it works. the bed will be off so if I have to fix anything it should be a breeze!

Adjustable throw out bearing came in finally. Worked great! The original TO bearing was 1.235" total length. I ended up with a total length of 2" on my adjustable TO bearing which put my clutch linkage geometry where I like it. Clutch releases with the pedal a tad more than half way down.
