Just wanna take a second and give a big thanks to Nelson Performance. The whole crew is great and awesome to work with. Wanna give a special thanks to Allen for all his help. He has tuned every truck Iv ever had and tunes all my friends and families trucks. Got the fittings in to do my fuel system...now all I need is a corvette fuel filter

The paint job the schoenfield puts on their headers is absolutely pathetic. Most of it rubbed off in the box during shipping. My guess is they put the cheapest thing they can on them just to keep them from rusting. Anyways I cleaned off all the old paint and prepped and painted them with some VHT header paint I picked up from the parts store. Iv had good luck with this stuff in the past and it has ceramic in it. Kinda has a matte black look, I like it

So changed plans and IM going with a mp112 supercharger instead of the whipple side mount. So the whipple

Been messing with the stock wiring harness thining out the bs I don't need. What a pain in the a$$!!!!!!! Anyways my Nelson harness came in the mail along with the pcm and a Nelson tune . Nelson put the wrong vss plug on the harness so I need to get that fixed ASAP. Hopefully he will just send one and I can splice it on. Here she is

Ran down to the parts store and got a vette filter for my fuel system. Here is the part number if anyone wants it. My s&p adapters came in as well

Cam came in last night! Iv used EPS cams in multiple builds for myself and each time the cams performed beyond my expectations. Geoff at EPS is an awesome guy to work with and always answers my questions thoroughly.

Anyways! Specs on my custom grind blower cam are 222/226 .604/.604 116lsa


Picked up my heads from the machine shop last night too...just some ole 5.3 truck heads I had rebuilt and had BTR dual platinum springs and titanium retainers installed

Got the cam, timing set, and lifters put in the motor today


Hopefully tomorrow I'll get the heads on, and mate the engine and trans. If all goes well I'll set the motor and trans in the truck!
