I swapped the LS1 intake onto my LM7, although mine is boosted so I dunno how much of a difference in power there is. I will likely switch to a sheet metal intake in the future anyways.
The mods I had to make were:
- an idler pulley relocation bracket(cut off where it currently is on the alternator bracket)
- Turn the water pump neck so its more forward facing(turning it wasnt as easy as I thought it would be)
-Cut grind out rear of alternator bracket to make room for steam vent tube
-Use 90deg AN or JIC fittings to fit crossover tube(if aftermarket fuel rails)

Note! Be very careful with your belt selection with the new angle of wrap on the idler pulley and tensioner! Alot more stress is out on it. I've broke 3 tensioners, but have sorted out the issue
