The fuel pump should be fine. Unless its old then swap it out for a new one. I am running my stock pump on my LQ4 and it is plenty. All stock except for CAI and headers. The new ECU should be able to control it. Its all controllable with a tune. Headers are your choice. Depends on your location. Salt in the winter will eat them alive unless you dont plan on driving it in the winter.
Been lurking since 09 and I finally have my kickass 6.0 LQ4

I am almost done with a 5.3/t56/14bolt swap into my 95 ecsb. 95 is still TBI so your fuel system operates at about 10-12 PSI IIRC. So you will need a stock vortec 96-98 fuel pump because the ls engines need 58 PSI. It is AcDelco Ep-381. Or you could go for something like a walbro 255 if you plan on more power in the future. Here is a link to my build thread, I haven't gotten around to starting one here yet. I also stopped posting as much in it. I can try to answer whatever questions I can, but remember I did a t56 and was 5 speed to begin with so I can't help with that.
