Okay so basically after the engine is in the truck I am going to mount the ecm for the 4.8/5.3 and wiring everything off the engine to it, I will also be wiring the 4l60e to this ecm to correct? After all that is done how do I connect the original ecm and the new ecm? I would like to keep this as straightforward as possible, I'm willing to buy all the wiring harnesses I need to make it as easy as possible, I'm even willing to throw a carb on the 4.8/5.3 to make it easier, provided the mileage doesn't go completely out the window when carb'd.
