CRK sensor code. Tried clearing it and it comes right back. I am positive it came on because I had the pcm power wire undone and tried to turn it over. So it has undone what the crank sensor has learned. How does it relearn? I have already gone through a dozen or so key cycles. I have tried to clear the code several times. What next?

A crankshaft relearn is a procedure that is performed by a tool. Such as a tech 2, Hptuners or similar.

Required when anything related to the crankshaft is changed.

My father in law has a scan tool that will let me do the crk variation learn procedure. I tried to do it today and found out it wont let me finish the procedure with out the P/N safety switch in park or neutral. I know its not seeing either right now. I am running a 700r4 and have removed all trans wiring from the harness accept for the c2 connector and the vss. I am going to try the procedure again tomorrow with the light green wire of the c2 connector (park signal I think) jumped to the black and white wire in the connector (ground). Is there anything else I can do if this doesn't work??
