Just bought and intake and gonna order a custom tune from Nelson Performance. I know I'm not gonna dominate on the street, but it will give a little life to my grocery getter.

And just completed step #1 by purchasing a custom tune. Man I hope I get some awesome results. I got a quote to swap some new 3:73 gears in my rear end for $1,250.00. Sounded pretty nuts to me . Anyone know a good cheap place in the Bay Area?

I original had a 4.8 and did everything bolt on you can think of and it just doesnt have it. So I but a blower on it that was the best way to get the power you are lookin for and its street legal in cali. Also you dont need to mod out your exahaust or you rearend or your intake or a programmer. It will fly but at cost of around 5,000.00 to 6,000.00 for the best Maganson. Then start saving around 150.00 a moth in a savings account (lets call it the new tranny in 12 month account). Good luck.
