    were you there?

there were plenty of low 9 sec trucks there. if you were there you would have seen it.
unfortunately most of them broke; which is expected in most cases.

my truck was ready, developed an issue; instead of fixing my truck i thought it was important to get three other trucks ready.
this ain't about me bringing one truck to the race; it's a gathering and the more trucks the better.

    it was a great turnout!
a lot of variety, lots of fast trucks and a good time.

I was there. Are you counting the Luv truck and the 6 cyl in the "low 9 sec truck" category? Flaco's group had a couple of fast trucks but seems like they couldn't make a clean pass without breaking. I didn't see anything fast from your group. Did you run in the shoot out?

    Once again. Not about me.

So let's see, I run a business all about trucks. Run this forum for all the enthusiasts.
Put on a Raceday just for trucks owners.
And ur still asking what did I bring out.

This truck race and gathering is all about truck owners, hanging out, having fun, and racing.

Enjoy it and take it for what it is. If u don't like it you try to put on a show

We were racing the nine sec brown truck.
Had a lot of fun as well.

This was the 4th LS1truck shoot we have been to, and we have a blast every single year. Even though i don't know Allen nelson personally or have even met him, i sure as hell am glad he puts on this event for us.

My friends and i may not have the fastest truck or race in any competitions, but we hang out and have fun at these events.

So, thanks to the Nelson Performance crew for having these awesome shootouts! We always look forward to the next LS!truck shootout!
    Axekick tuned, Pacesetters, Servo.

yes we had the 9 sec brown truck out there
we were supposed to test and tune Wednesday before the shootout but got rained out so we started out a day behind from the get go...while the shootout was going on we were still test and tuning is reason why we were not in any of the races and still have a few more passes to get everything ironed out since it only has 4 passes on it.

First time to this race and it had its good and bad points. The trucks were badass and the racers themselves were great to talk to. The biggest thing holding this event back is the track manager. You cant treat your customers like crap and expect them to come back. You also dont make up rules as you go. We race all over the country in numerous sanctioning bodies and with alot of different promoters. The biggest thing a promoter needs to remember is he needs to take care of the racers first. Communication is the key to success.
