anyway, you didnt say if this was a daily. if its not registered for street, then forget what i said. you can get whatever you want!
but if yoyour gonna do a legal swap, heres a tip... the ref uses the vin in the pcm to base everything off of. so if you want a 6.0, find an lq4 if you dont mind the lower compresion as they are way cheaper than the lq9. then just get the pcm vin changed to a legit lq9 equipped vehicle (0bviously one that isnt being used in the dmv system) and you should be good to go as the motors are essentially identicle..

I hate to even ask this....WTF is an LT. Long tube maybe? Sorry, I'm a rookie.
I original had a 4.8 and did everything bolt on you can think of and it just doesnt have it. So I but a blower on it that was the best way to get the power you are lookin for and its street legal in cali. Also you dont need to mod out your exahaust or you rearend or your intake or a programmer. It will fly but at cost of around 5,000.00 to 6,000.00 for the best Maganson. Then start saving around 150.00 a moth in a savings account (lets call it the new tranny in 12 month account). Good luck.
