I used an industrial die grinder to elongate the holes. Spent about 20 minutes to complete the job.

got my flexplate bolt holes elongated...

Got some fuel line parts in...

Also got my engine in the bay today..... almost.... the motor mounts are in but for some reason it doesnt want to slide back enought to allow me to easily mount my bellhousing.. the pass side slides back but the drivers side seems bound somehow... Nothing is obstructing it but it wont move... I am about an inch off...

You're not having problems with the ring gear/spacer are you? Just wondering if it's hitting the torque converter or not. Or if the torque converter is seated onto the pump far enough.

No... I figured it out today... My drivers side wouldnt slide far enough back.. turns out there was a ground bolt i forgot to take off that was hitting my motor mount adapters.... I took the bolt off and the motor slid right up to the bellhousing and I bolted it up... sometimes you just got to walk away from it for a bit and clear your head and the problem will come out...
