    Fuel feed line size?

Hello, I am about to order the fittings and hose to replumb my truck for its new TSP 408, I had all -06 hose for feed and return before when I had 6.0 in the truck, but I am now switching to the single non return fuel rail on my TBSS intake that will be on my 408, I am going to run the vette filter with regulator built in, and I have been told by a few people to run -08 from the filter to the fuel rail instead of -06 because this engine will be around the 500 HP level. What do you guys think -06 or -08 for fuel feed line. Thanks in advance!

-06 would be sufficient but -08 would be better

i'd run it from tank to fuel rail

up to the filter flow will improve, but the filter inlet and outlet are still -6, 3/8".
the return on that filter is 5/16.

if you're running all new hose, i would suggest just run an aftermarket regulator that is -8 all the way thru.

regardless of what you go with, the fuel system will still be enough for that NA setup.

i've done a lot of fuel systems and i tend to lean towards doing it once and just a tad larger for growth.

Ok well I am planning to run stock hard lines up to where the OE filter was originally then the vette filter, so I think I will go ahead and go with the -08 hose then. Thanks!

you'll need to make 2 lines, feed & return, to go from the hard line to the vette filter.

this are the 2 fittings to connect to the factory lines, but these are for -6 fittings.

Yeah I think those are the same ones I sent you a link to back when you were starting your swap, and I am going to keep -06 on both up to the filter, and then -08 from the filter to the fuel rail. I had the lines just like yours when I had the 6.0 in it and it worked perfect.

i just did my fuel swap n my truck pm me if you have any questions. i ran a single -8an line to the drivers rear then also on the cross over, then a -6an line off the passangers rear rail into the Fuel pressure regulator. from there i ran it back to the tank -6an.

since your goin returnless tho id deff run -8an to be safe. GL man
