Sorry man, it's just the way it is. You have to convert it. It's been a year since i did my conversation and swap. I remember one of the input shafts being way longer. the throw out bearing is hydraulic and is bolted to the mid plate on the ls1 style. Lots of little things. Just do the conversion, bolt it in and be done. I can't remember all the details, but after i started putting things together, it made sense.
