Yeah, he can , but he will need your code to get it playing again. I sold mine to a guy and I had to call the dealer to get the code. It was so long ago I do not know if they went off the vin # or not?

It might still work it if you never activated the anti theft, mine is 2001 and I think I could turn the AF on and off look at the owners manual it will tell you how it works I think?
heres some more info on my buddies stereo problem. "update on the stereo. i found a second radio fuse in the driver door fuse panel that was blown, i replaced it, restarted the car and it blew again"

sure sounds like it... make sure the amp is ok also or disconnect it you may have short there that is traveling through the RCA's. back to the deck. If I think of something else i will let you know.
update, theres a short between the ground and one of the power wires. does anyone know where a diagram for this setup is?
also could it have anything to do with voice coil overs?
