    6.0 build

Got my 6.0 tore down to the block. doing top end rebuild, it came with iron heads and just didnt cut it anymore. Trucks a 99 RCSB 4X4 6.0 / 4l80e swap. 4:10 gears. 305/40 tires on 22's lowered 5 inches. looking to have a fun strip/street truck, daily driver

    Stock 6.0 Bottem end.
    317 heads milled .030
    Texas Speed 233/239 .595/.603 112 LSA
    PRC .650" Valve Springs
Texas speed Chromo pushrods ( length to be determined )
    LS7 Lifters & Trays
    ARP head bolts
Summit Racing double timing chain and gear set
    3600 converter

Whats Head Gaskets to run... LS9 or a LS2. i have a 4.00 inch bore and the ls9 head gasket is 4.100. just curious if i will loose much compression from it.

also want to do a EGR deleate... whats involved in that?

as well as a electric fan swap over my clutch fan i have now. what do i need for that?

    any input is appreciated thanks!

Your going to love that camshaft! I just installed the same one a few months ago. Made my truck a monster. Egr delete is easy, make sure your tuned for it though. You can find an 03 and up intake that doesn't have egr stuff, and i got headers that didn't have that stuff. I also built my electric fan shroud and just bought a fan. But i know nelson makes a harness if you get the f body fans.

NNBS intake ftw. Everything looks good and LS9 is the way to go on head gaskets. Don't worry about the bore size. The fastest 4.8 in the country uses LS9 gaskets so I wouldn't worry about it. Egr is easy tune it out and plug the hole on the intake or swap to one without. Fbody fans fit perfect and a fan harness will cover the wiring.
