    I raced a trailblazer ss

Hey guys the other night i was cruzing threw town and a trailblazer ss pulled up at the red light. I never expected my big heavy under powered truck could take it, but wth right lol. We took off and i pulled him pretty hard, he let off when i got about a truck and half on him. Is this norm of just a fluke. Im sure he was stock or i hope so. Im running a 2000 ex cab 5.3 z71, 33in tires, built 4l60e . Gears tru track, circle d 3000 stall, fairbanks valve body kit, nelson tune, cold air n exhahust pretty much all i got goin for me.

Doesn't sound right to me. They will run 13's in good air pretty much bone stock. Unless he was a 2wd and was spinning bad out of the hole he should have taken you...good kill.

I say fluke or he was just a regular guy not really racing.
Have a few friends that have had TBSS and they are pretty quick bone stock, throwing on some bolt ons puts them in the 12s.

The tuning with the TBSS is on the ragged edge of lean so I have seen stock TBSS go slower when a cai was added without proper tuning.
