1990 LSX Silverado Compound boost turbo project!

Its coming out good! We added a 15# spring to the top waste gate and it helped tremendously!. Still only running max boost of 12psi but now that the small turbo is working like it should it is a beast. I'm seeing 4psi at 2k and full boost at 25-2600rpm. Pretty awesome. The goal is to run low 10s possible high 9s with nitrous. That cluster is out of a 98 Camaro. Heres a post I put up on PT.net

Well finally got to make some 1/4mile passes at the HPTrucks October truck Madness event. Best pass went 11.43@122.5mph. This is boost only and @ 15psi on a stock 4.8L. I'm really happy with the results and see 10s in the near future with a better 60ft. Goal is low 10's@20psi and would be awesome to see high 9s@20psi with nitrous. 10s I know is possible but I may be shooting a little high going for 9s. hahaha My last pass was the 11.43 run and had a awesome race with the guy in the right lane. why only a gain of 24mph out the back door? my old 48 combo with 1 turbo and no n20 would go 30-32 mph out the back door on similar psi
