    Upgrades while swapping?

    Hey guys, another question.

    2002 1500, standard cab, short bed. 4.3 4l60e to 6.0 4l80e soon.

When doing this swap should I go ahead and put a torque converter with stall on there?

Basically I'm asking what I should go ahead and upgrade while I'm doing the swap to make it easier, and what will be ok to wait and do later on?

This is my plan so far (not all immediate):
    LQ4
    4l80e
    Stall 3k
    L92 heads
    New cam
    Nelson Tune
    Electric fan
    Long tubes and dual exhaust
    Cold air

I don't plan on doing any kind of spray or boost. All engine.

Big trans cooler(40k is most common)
with the cam hardened pushrods and valve springs
    ls7 lifters
    ls2 or better timing chain
    Trunion upgrade
Bigger injectors 36lbs should be plenty.

Ok awesome. In what order of priority would you put these upgrades, ie: immediate, whenever, these two together...

Work on tracking down a motor/trans combo you are going to use first, then worry about add on's. sometimes it's best to just swap over " good running parts " then " upgraded " parts. It will help eliminate you chasing your tail thinking that a "sound " is normal when it's not. Basically get it to run first then swap parts over. But first swappable piece CAI. Always good to have one
