How's the build coming? I'm curious to see what it does once you can get the small turbo to come on sooner!

Its coming out good! We added a 15# spring to the top waste gate and it helped tremendously!. Still only running max boost of 12psi but now that the small turbo is working like it should it is a beast. I'm seeing 4psi at 2k and full boost at 25-2600rpm. Pretty awesome. Here is a little video I recorded today. http://youtu.be/NeoLo8PNmIQ

Watch boosting that early so rods don't exit on you from the stress too soon

The goal is to run low 10s possible high 9s with nitrous. That cluster is out of a 98 Camaro. Heres a post I put up on PT.net

Well finally got to make some 1/4mile passes at the HPTrucks October truck Madness event. Best pass went 11.43@122.5mph. This is boost only and @ 15psi on a stock 4.8L. I'm really happy with the results and see 10s in the near future with a better 60ft. Goal is low 10's@20psi and would be awesome to see high 9s@20psi with nitrous. 10s I know is possible but I may be shooting a little high going for 9s. hahaha My last pass was the 11.43 run and had a awesome race with the guy in the right lane. Here is the time slip

why only a gain of 24mph out the back door? my old 48 combo with 1 turbo and no n20 would go 30-32 mph out the back door on similar psi

    what are the IATs like?

    got any videos

Im leaving the line with 2 or 3 psi and only at 2100rpm. My drum breaks are extremely weak and can't hold anything past 2100rpm with out spinning the tire. Im converting to disk brakes out back so that should help me get my rpms and boost up at the line. id like to see 1.7 to 1.6 60ft. One thing is for sure this 4.8 wouldnt be spinning the T6 S480 if it wasnt for the compound set up. Very happy with the results so far.

none of that answers the question why is it only picking up 24mph? ive seen NA setups net those gains. are the IATs pulling timing? or is the compound setup choking up, up top?

if you adjust your drum brakes enough they will hold much better then disks for what stock options are. toss new shoes and drums on and make sure the brakes are adjusted right. get a new proportioning valve and adjust the bias more rear. you can also use the ebrake at same time and get plenty of brake force to build boost

IAT was 131 and motor was running hot because of bad fan relay. ECT was at 250 by the end of the run. Total timing was at 12.5 degrees. I don't have any videos but I'm waiting on a guy that took a vid of this run. I'll post them once he does.
