True, they are pretty much the same, but being that my truck is on airsuspension I cant get full travel out of it b/c it binds up. But with a triangulated it allows for much more travel/flex (it wont bind). Pluse I lay frame and showering sparks on my plastic fule tank isnt all that great. And moving it to the back is better weight ratio, i corner my truck pretty hard and i get insane over steer.
