New Guy, New Project. I wanna go fast.

Hey guys, great site. Lots of information. Its good to have more experienced people teaching lesser experienced people, that creates a good society and culture that we are losing out on as a nation in my opinion.

Right now I'm living in Washington, DC, but within the next 6 months I will be located in Greenville, NC.

My project/daily driver: 2002 Silverado 1500. 4.3L and 4L60E. No other upgrades, plain jane. But the potential... Ohhh the potential.

My plan so far: LQ4/9 6.0L with the 4L80E. Trying to located both right now. I'd settle for a 5.3L LM7 if I got a good deal, but I'd rather have the bigger one. From the research I've been doing, putting a new cam and new headers on those LS engines make them scream. Lets see what happens.

Welcome. From personal experience don't bother with the 5.3. Lots of money ahead waiting for the 6.0
