Thread: 1989 silverado 5.7 to 5.3 swap-oil pressure and water temp questions

    From the instrument panel cluster, locate the green wire at position "R" of the cluster plug. This wire goes to the temperature sensor.
    From the instrument panel cluster, locate the tan wire at position "P" of the cluster plug. This wire goes to the oil pressure sensor.

    Not sure if these wires come from the driver's side firewall or the passenger side. You will have to track them down working from the cluster panel plug towards the firewall.
    Judging by these schematics, your sensors should be one wire sensors.
