    Potential rust issue?

So the dealership installed factory molded mud guards today. I just noticed they used self tapping screws in a couple spots. Isn't this going to be a rust issue in the future? Kinda aggravated about it.

I am sure some will be unavoidable, however it depends on how good you take care of that stuff.

I looked at some used silverados on the lot of the local Chevy dealer. The ones with the factory mud guards showed no rust around the screws. I also found out that the screws they use have a rubbery compound around the threads that is supposed to seal the holes from moisture.
