Cam swap in Cali
What's up guys! I'm brand new here and I've spent all day reading! I want to do a cam swap on my 4.8l crew cab! But I'm in California where if you put the wrong plugs in your smog test will fail! Question is has any one done a cam swap and passed? I know I'll need a tune but I want to get the cam in and do a gear swap before I get the tune! The biggest I want to go is like a 220 cam. Anyone been in my shoes?
HT1 cam from SDparts with a proper tune may get you by. It's a mild cam that has been done before. Hit up blackbear performance. They can likely get you taken care of there in Cali.
