Yes hptuners will do those things, but you may need to load some customs pids for things like misfire data. Hptuners is just about the most powerful scan tool on the market.

Thats ok can you do generic obd2 at all on other cars or is it only gm
Mostly just GM some fords and mopars. I have seen some random newer Toyotas And such that can be logged.

Are there any other good scan tools to purchase other than hp tuners or efi? I'm looking for something that will be able to command tests ( EVAP, O2 SENSOR, MONITORING SYSTEMS), as well as show codes, erase them too. Would also like to see live data. Any good ones for $300 ?
