Just curious what you guys used to install the 5.3 airbox. I am unsure whether to use the old battery tray or make a bracket to fasten it too. Any pics would be nice

its a 95 gmc sierra and it will be in the factory spot of the 5.3 as i got the battery tray for the driver side
Got a couple of lousy pics of a '93 with 6.0 airbox in factory battery location. It's a little tight, but it does fit. I don't have any brackets to mount it. Simply zip tied it to the radiator ears.

i figured it out I ended up separating the top of the battery tray from the bracket with a spot weld cutting bit and made a new plate to mount the airbox to
