Got some questions on waste gate and blow off valve. Whats the best bang for the buck? What size should I run with this 70mm turbo? I've been doing research but seeing alot of different answers.

They never put ls7's in a ctsv. Unless your buddy put it on his car and is now swapping, it's not a ls7 manifold. But really there is no need for a different manifold. The stock truck will support all the power you could make with that 70mm. What are your plans for the hot pipes?

i'd get a 40mm, we use Turbosmart, they are solid wg's. should work fine on your setup.

best bang for the buck, not sure, i quit buying the "budget" wg's.

    thx on the truck comment,

Its the stock intake off the ctsv, I thought he said ls7 could be wrong lol. He's going aftermarket and is just gonna give it to me I'm just gonna hold on to it for another motor. I'm putting this setup in a '97 Ford Ranger, gonna have to built my own manifolds. Cross over pipe from the driverside to the passengerside to a t4 flange, if thats what you were asking. I'm new to the turbo scene.

Thats what I've been reading about the wg's not to skimp on a cheap one, thanks I'll check them out. There's a "farm truck" here in Jersey '68? C10 5.3 Turbo, nothing like having a fast truck!

Yea that c10 is sick. Since you will be building your own setup you should get "maximum boost" by corky bell. You can get it on Amazon. It explains about exhaust velocity and a bunch of other valuable information. Your best bet is finding a set of stock manifolds that will work for your setup and build from there. I'd say go with 2" from the manifolds and step it up to 2.25" on the way to the turbo. Like Allen said a 40mm gate should work just fine as long as it's plumbed into the right spot. For the cold side I would run 3" for the whole thing and rps sells a 50mm box for $100. Also try to fit the biggest intercooler you can, preferably a 4" core
