1 tsp of baby shampoo. Don't go more than that. Unscented as well. Watch youtube videos. It will help.

The company i got the tint kit from seems legit. they are sending me the precut 3m tint with a lifetime warranty against fading, a baby shampoo/water mix, an instructional video, a hard card, razor, lint free towels and a squeegie thing to do it with. my door panels are currently off so hopefully it will be a little easier. the hardest thing will be keeping contaminates out since the door panels are off. i may hose down the inside of the doors tonight in preperation.

Just a heads up, tinting is a whole lot easier if the glass is out. Since you have the door panels off, unbolt the glass and pull it. Not much more work.

it wasnt bad with windows in. i'll definately pay someone to do tint for now on. it's not much more to have a pro do the job. i coudlnt drive to a pro so i did it myself and the results are as good as i could have expected.

Lol I know what you mean, its one of those things that you can do but for the price of a tint shop, why would you want to!
I do one every once in a while. Dad picked up a new truck last month and I did his, the last time was back in 06 when I bought my f150 crew cab.
