You guys didn't have flashing LED's or anything if I remember correctly...y'all just flashed high beam to low beam and made a siren over the intercom.

I didnt/dont have flasing leds, my taillights were led kind and got stolen.
I only have clear strobe lights

Wasn't saying you did. The OP has an LED bar that has the flashing on it. Technically ANY flashing or strobe style light, obviously other than what is already factory like a blinker, is illegal to be used on the road.

You do know that they sell strobe kits and flashing lights for civilian vehicles? Specifically for volunteer fireman. It's not illegal as long as it's used in the proper manner.
