i hear ya but if you dont mind doing the work to tear down the motor and inspect it, you can get pretty good deals. i got mine for less than 1500 out the door and yes it came with all the accessories. just look for a "pullout" which means it comes with everything. im chancing it as i didnt tear it down but i didnt want to this time. i figure get it in and running and have fun. if it blows, then hell, at least ive already completed the swap. then ill just have to take it apart. ive rebuilt a few other motors before and its not that hard. just torque everything down like your supposed to and check clearances and youll be good to go. but i havnt hit the 3k mark yet (close) and thats including all the parts i needed to complete the swap WITH emmisions crap. were jsut saying you should shop around a bit more. thats pretty steep. but the choice is yours. if you feel comfortable with it then i say do it!

well im gonna call up the mechanic shop i take my truck to and have him quote me a new replacement 5.7 jasper engine and may end up going that route, bc in my mind it seems like the swaps not that bad but when it comes down to it its more than i thought. With towing a 82 gmc 2500 and a couple 67-72 halfton c10s not all at once, the guy on pirate4x4 recommended a lq4 with 4l80e trans which is basically turning it into a 2500hd but the bad part is all my other drivetrain parts will be half ton parts. Its a badass swap and id love to get it done but it seems like way to much work
